Digital and Arts Training


Intro to Digital Arts Production in your own studio or space:

  • Create greeting cards & art photo cubes for your sales booth
      4 lessons totalling 6 hours on Zoom
      $95 / person (5 persons minimum) OR $180/hour private lessons.
  • Create inkjet printable chapbooks for poetry and photos
      3 lessons totalling 4.5 hours on Zoom
      $75 / person (5 persons minimum) OR $150/hour private lessons.
  • Art printing on inkjets
      3 lessons totalling 4.5 hours
      $75 / person (5 persons minimum) OR $150/hour private lessons, both on Zoom.
  • Basic video and audio editing to showcase your artwork (OpenShot & Audacity)
      4 lessons totalling 6 hours on Zoom
      $95 / person (5 persons minimum) OR $180/hour private lessons on Zoom.
  • Professionally scanning artwork for internet/digital use
      1 lesson totalling 1.5 hours
      $65 / person (5 persons minimum) OR $125/hour private lessons on Zoom.

Photography

  • Introductory smartphone or digital camera photography, sunrise or sunset photo safari classes
    • 7 lessons totalling 7 hours in “photo safari” format, every other day for two weeks
    • Covers all the basics: Exposure, Aperture, ISO, Composition, Colour/Monochrome Considerations, Closeups, Landscapes.
    • $10 / person per lesson. Note: Children under 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Get details and register here.
  • Introductory videography using your smartphone, sunrise or sunset photo safari classes
      1 lesson totalling 1 hour
      $95 / person (5 persons minimum)

  • Private basic lesson in photographing your artwork
      $175 / 2.0 hr private session

  • Gentle, Constructive, and Private photo critique sessions for beginners
      $40 per half hour.

Introduction to Land Art workshop series:

    • 3 sessions in the series, one hour each week totalling 3 hours, on Zoom. Minimum of 5 participants required.
      PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Children under sixteen may participate under the supervision of their registered parent.
    • You learn the basic history, intentions and disciplines in this art form, environmental considerations, gain ideas for creating your own, and learn what you need to know to create your own in a Canadian local park, beach, or public space as well as where you can see some actual works in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada.
    • You and your “bubble” create one at your own pace and time in your own backyard, in local parks, or on local beaches, then photograph or video your art piece and upload photos to us to be shown in the virtual exhibit space on our website. (Exhibit costs are included in the workshop price.)
    • Price: $125 / person-or-family-team-of-two covers attendance in all three workshops of the series and virtual exhibit costs for participant photos/videos.
